Islam Is Hardcore Colonialism: The Erasure No One Talks About

When we talk about colonialism, most people immediately think of European powers carving up Africa, Asia, and the Americas — forcing their languages, cultures, and religions onto native peoples.
Fair enough.
But there’s a far older, far more successful form of colonialism that almost no one dares to call out:
Islam.

Islam is, by every definition, an imperialist project that obliterated countless cultures, nations, and languages across the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and beyond — and did it so effectively that most of its victims today don't even realize they were colonized.

1. Total Civilizational Overwrite

When Muhammad and his armies began their conquests, it wasn’t enough for a people to simply submit politically.
Islam demanded total surrender — spiritual, linguistic, cultural, and historical.

  • Persia: A proud empire with millennia of Zoroastrian tradition, sophisticated art, philosophy, and political thought. After the Islamic conquest (651 AD), Persian identity was gutted.
Zoroastrians were massacred, forcibly converted, or reduced to a tiny, persecuted minority. Persian language itself was Arabicized — filled with Arabic vocabulary and forced into the mold of the Qur'an's grammar.

  • Egypt:
The cradle of human civilization — pharaohs, hieroglyphs, ancient gods. By the 8th century, Coptic Christianity had been trampled underfoot. Arabic replaced Coptic. Egyptian identity was hollowed out to the point that most modern Egyptians think of themselves as Arabs rather than descendants of the pharaohs.

  • North Africa (Berbers):
Fierce, independent Berber peoples were conquered and Islamized, then used as cannon fodder to expand Islamic rule into Spain. Their indigenous religions, customs, and even many languages were pushed to near extinction.

  • Levant and Mesopotamia:
Aramaic-speaking Christian communities — direct cultural heirs to the ancient Assyrians and Babylonians — were crushed under Islamic taxation, persecution, and cultural degradation. Today, Syriac, the language Jesus himself spoke, is on the verge of extinction.

Islam didn't just conquer lands. It conquered minds. It obliterated native self-consciousness.
Colonialism perfected.

2. Arabic Language Imperialism: A Weapon of Conquest

Islam’s colonial strategy included an almost militant promotion of Arabic:

  • Arabic was declared the sole language of the Qur'an.

  • Legal documents, government orders, scholarly writings — all had to be in Arabic.

  • Native languages were suppressed, branded as backward or pagan.

Aramaic, Coptic, Middle Persian, Berber dialects, ancient Nubian languages — all reduced to relics, spoken only by a dying minority.

Even in lands far from Arabia — like Persia, Anatolia, and the Malay world — Arabic was elevated to a sacred status, subtly erasing native linguistic heritage generation by generation.

Today, most "Muslims" from Indonesia to Morocco repeat Arabic prayers they barely understand — a living testament to how deep this linguistic colonization runs.

3. Historical Amnesia: Pre-Islamic Cultures Labeled "Ignorant"

The Islamic doctrine of Jahiliyyah — the "Age of Ignorance" — is perhaps the ultimate act of historical gaslighting.

In Islamic thought:

  • Everything before Muhammad is worthless.

  • Pre-Islamic poetry, religions, laws, wisdom traditions — all dismissed as primitive superstition.

  • Ancient achievements are either claimed (rebranded as Islamic) or condemned as satanic falsehoods.

Entire civilizations — Sumerian, Egyptian, Persian, Phoenician, Greco-Roman — are reduced to a footnote in Islamic historiography: "ignorant pagans before Islam enlightened them."

This is worse than European colonialism, which at least grudgingly admired the cultures it crushed.
Islamic colonialism mocked, erased, and demonized its conquered subjects' histories.

4. Forced Religious Transformation: Cultural Genocide

Islamic law (Sharia) institutionalized religious apartheid:

  • Non-Muslims ("dhimmis") were forced to pay crushing taxes (jizya).

  • They were excluded from military, political, and social life.

  • They were humiliated in public law — forbidden to build new places of worship, ride horses, or even defend themselves against Muslims.

  • Over time, many "converted" simply to survive.
This was not freedom of religion.
It was slow, grinding extermination of indigenous faiths.

And let's be clear:
The Qur'an itself sanctions this system (Qur'an 9:29), commanding Muslims to fight Jews and Christians "until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued."

Islamic expansion was never peaceful. It was colonialism with the sword in one hand and the Qur'an in the other.

5. Today: The Ultimate Success of Islamic Colonialism

The most brutal fact of all?
Islamic colonialism succeeded so totally that its victims now defend their own colonizers.

  • Modern Egyptians sincerely believe they are "Arabs," not heirs to the pharaohs.

  • Persians celebrate Islamic holidays and Islamic heroes who destroyed their own Zoroastrian culture.

  • North Africans speak Arabic and call themselves Arabs, their Berber roots forgotten or marginalized.

  • Malay identity is so tied to Islam that being Malay without Islam is nearly unthinkable in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Islamic colonialism erased the past so completely that it even erased the memory of erasure.
The ultimate conquest: making the enslaved love their chains.

🔥 Conclusion: Islam Is The Most Successful Colonizer In History

Islamic conquest was not just a political event.
It was a spiritual, cultural, and intellectual lobotomy.
It turned once-great civilizations into Islamic appendages. It annihilated languages, histories, and cultures at a scale even the worst European colonialists could never match.

And the world today — shackled by political correctness and fear — refuses to speak this truth.

But we must.

Because until we recognize Islam as hardcore colonialism,
we will never understand the full depth of the theft —
the civilizational genocide that took place under the banner of Allah.
